Alex Wregg
Creator & Director
Alex is a creator of immersive theatre based on Gadigal Land in Sydney. His immersive theatrical shows are globally successful, having sold over 75,000 tickets to date. They have been staged in 5 countries and more than 30 cities around the world, including Sydney, New York, Los Angeles, London, Vancouver, Toronto and Auckland.
You might have experienced one of his former productions such as The Alice - An Immersive Cocktail Experience, The Art of Murder, and The Wizard’s Den.
Alex has a screen background and was the host of the cinema review show Pulling Focus - which aired on Sydney public transport and on the snackabletv.tv digital platform. His past screen industry experience includes his time at Weta Digital (NZ), where he worked on Avatar, District 9 and The Lovely Bones. He also worked at the Australian Classification Board as the primary government contact for film and game distributors including Sony Pictures, Warner Bros. Entertainment, and Nintendo.
Alex’s screenplay experience includes his feature film script The Bushrangers, which made the final round of Sundance Screenwriters Lab, and his TV pilot Styx Rising was a finalist in the PAGE Awards.
Bronte Reynolds
Costume & Props Designer
Bronte is a professional Costume Crafter, Props Master, Concept Artist, and illustrator. With an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design and as a graduate of the Production Art Department, she is also an award-winning costume maker, winning Best In show as NSW Supanova.
Bronte has collaborated with top-tier companies such as Marvel, Disney, Warner Brothers, Sony, Paramount, StudioCanal, and Channel Seven, and contributed her talents to local Australian productions including Barons, Home and Away, and NCIS Sydney.
With years of experience working across film, TV, and web series, Bronte is deeply passionate about storytelling, audience connection, and fostering creative collaborations. She places great value on working in positive, supportive environments where creativity can truly flourish.
Recent commissions include red carpet character designs for The House of Dragon and Army of the Dead premieres, and costume design on The Trial of Socrates.
Set Design and Construction
Paul Bujak
Paul Bujak (Pablo) brings over a decade of hands-on experience transforming empty locations into fully operational film, television and theatre sets—often in the most remote and challenging environments in Australia. From the red dust of WA to the tropics of Queensland, Paul has built, managed, and dismantled entire production setups with remarkable efficiency and precision.
Paul was the production designer and builder for The Wizard's Den, and recently worked in set delivery on the blockbuster film Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. Paul has also served as Unit Manager on major Australian projects including Last King of the Cross, Bali 2002, and SAS Australia.
His specialty lies in construction, infrastructure and hand-made craftsmanship. Paul is an expert carpenter and builder who brings artistry to a set.
From carved tables to vintage signage, Paul is a renaissance man with a wide range of creative skills that Dorothy in Oz will be taking full advantage of.
The Producers
Talia Meyerowitz-Katz
Talia is a creative producer with a particular interest in immersive and interactive theatre. She holds a Masters in Creative Producing from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. She produced hit immersive show Art Heist with Jetpack Theatre Company, which ran in Sydney for several months after extending its season three times due to selling out.
Talia joined award-winning independent theatre company Rogue Projects in 2019, and now leads the company alongside founders Robbi James and Erica Lovell. Her producing credits with the Rogues include The Female of the Species (2024), Pear-Shaped at Theatreworks (2023), Blacklisted at Hayes Theatre Co (2022), Wil and Grace at 505 (2021) and You’re Not Special at KXT (2021).
From 2021- 2023 Talia was Assistant Producer for Lauren Eisinger Productions. With LEP part of the programming team at House of Oz, the Australian showcase venue at Edinburgh Fringe. She also assisted on close up magic show The Unfair Advantage at the Sydney Harbour Bridge Pylon, and Strange Chaos at Adelaide Fringe, a clowning show performed in a car park.
Other producing credits include Grifted & Talented (2025), The Museum of this Morning (2022), for Jetpack Theatre, The Ugly Show (2019), and Social Media Suicide in London and Edinburgh Fringe (2018). Upcoming shows include the New Zealand and Australian tour of Grifted & Talented, and the premiere of Gravity at Qtopia in Sydney.
Robbi James
Robbi is one of the most recognisable theatre producers in Sydney. He has produced sixteen fully-staged productions including Joanna Murray-Smith's The Female of the Species; Katie Pollock’s Rough Trade, Pear-Shaped (Theatre Works, Monkey Baa), Blacklisted (Hayes Theatre), You’re Not Special (KXT, Australian Theatre Live), Not Today (Theatre Works, Riverside Theatres, Seymour Centre); and the Cannes Award-Winning short film Refused Classification.
As one of the creative leads at Rogue Projects he has facilitated the creative development of a further six works and was one of the producers of the highly successful Rogues on the Rocks residency program in partnership with Sydney Fringe and Placemaking NSW, which supported over thirty artists to create new pieces across theatre, visual art, and music.
Robbi completed his Masters in Arts Management at the Sydney Opera House with the Australian Institute of Music. He is a passionate advocate for supporting artists in the development of local voices, stories, and experiences.
Robbi is currently the Producer of Salon, the NSW Arts Market, for Arts on Tour, is the Executive Producer of Hillsong Boy, and a Producer and Dramaturg on the upcoming world premiere of Gravity at QTOPIA Sydney. He is also one of the executives behind Creative Plus Business, Australia’s leading social enterprise dedicated to helping creative people and arts organisations be better at business.
